Why I am addicted to Rock star reality shows Rock Star INXS and Supernova Bret Michaels Rock of Love Family Jewels.... WTF??? I seem to only watch the reality shows that have some sort of Black leather and Bad Rocker Boy appeal to them. I wish I could be broader minded but I like what I like. And my Musician Fetish is rather disconcerting to some and heralded by others. But seriously, after having the Overlord compose a song about me (right after we initially met), you are damn right that I am addicted to the music and the men in Rock Guitar-land. Spoiled? You bet...and I deserve it! I am 100% real woman and rocker chick. I adore musicians and even their reality shows. They just Ooooze SEX appeal... Mmmmmmmmmmmmm I be-muse...  |

I saw a clip of the Brett Michaels one. That guy really goes for the full blown dog slobber, tongue down the esophagus style kissing! That doesn't excite me though. It does the direct opposite.  I didn't get a good look at all the girls on that though. The short glimpse I got made the lot of them look like desperate whores though. That made the show almost interesting but I don't have cable. insert exploding bomb image here

Hi King_Cobb Sometimes that's just part of the appeal of these types of shows--The "Cringe Factor". I don't find Brett appealing in the least (In total agreement with what you mentioned about the doggie slobber-type kissing! Hee Hee!) I have a sick and twisted desire to see how low some of the Chickies on there will go, just for a piece of famous tail. I mean how far will one go on international television for their tiny and fleeting piece of fame--or sadly, infamy? It is amusing to me, it is my personal bubble gum and pulp fiction break from reality--which is rather disturbing because it is supposed to be "reality TV". And cable truly is over-rated. The void between actual credible and interesting programming and fluff is getting larger by the sponsors never ending ad-bucks. So instead... TURN UP THAT STEREO!!! ~bemused

I love it too! It is a form of mindless entertainment that reminds me how lucky I am to have what I have. And on the occasions that I do watch, it helps keep my restless mind occupied, which is something I really need these days.  I LOVE watching The Bad Girls Club on Oxygen network! hehehe! Hi metalmama, Hope all is getting better in your neck of the woods. My best to your lil' metalhead! How are both of you doing? I don't have the Oxygen network, but I am intrigued by the sounds of that show. (There is a BAD girl inside every GOOD girl!) We all need to have some mindless entertainment! (Not 24/7--but every once, twice or even thrice a week!) For many of us who are going through too much agonizing 'real reality' it helps to keep us from becoming even more wobbly!
