Video Camera

So, I'm going to be buying a video camera soon. All you sexy ladie's who love "making home movies", as Discreet Gay Dating put's it, really should say hello =-)
I'm also looking for input on wich camera to buy. I'm sitting here browsing, and the choices are ENDLESS! I know I'm going with HD, and will probably want good low light quality (Yeah, I'm sure you can guess why...)but beyond that I'm a bit lost. Any suggestion's?
