what is boudoir photography?

You may have seen my postings about being willing to take 'boudoir' photographs of women or couples, and may be wondering what it's all about.

Boudoir photographs are fairly tame, but sexy, poses where you wear your sexy things. The amount of exposure is up to you - maybe some of your things are somewhat transparent, maybe there is 'accidental' exposure of a nipple ... it's something that you decide.

I'm willing to spend an hour or so photographing you in a variety of poses, and in a variety of outfits. You get all the pictures on a CD, and I NEVER share any of the pictures with anyone else.

You change in a separate room and I never touch or get too close to you. You pick out the outfits. I'll make suggestions for poses, but it's up to you which suggestions to use.

How much does this cost? I offer to do it for free. This scares a lot of people because they think I have an ulterior motive - I must want something in return, right? I'm an amateur photographer who enjoys working with live models.

If you're at all interested, contact me at photographerbarney on the popular e-mail system and we can discuss what kind of pictures you want. Then we can meet over coffee so you can get comfortable with me as a person. If there is anything else I can do to make you comfortable with the idea, let me know.

After meeting, if you don't feel comfortable about it, then there will be no hard feelings.
