Thoughts from the past

I was watching TV once, and came across two astounding (and related) pieces of information:

1) "Men don't understand how 'soul-murderingly' bad it hurts when a woman is cheated on..."

The above quote uttered by one latino singer/actress JL on a famous african-american lady's TV show whilst discussing the subject matter of her (then)latest movie, having recently just gotten married to a dancer CJ.

2) She would then go on to cheat on him 7 months later - with her ex PD.

Funny old world, eh? Discuss.

Ofcourse not - in most cases, the expected reaction is to "Man-up!" (whatever that means) and move on. Does this mean those men are not (allowed) to talk about their feelings? Whatever happened to "expressing how you feel?". Is that not part of the very problem we have today where quite a few quys out there lack the skill to communicate emotion?

Ofcourse all this in generalisation, and very ope to discussion.
