Just another wedding........

Just when you think no one has an original thought for themselves any more. Just when you thought all weddings had to start at putting you in the poor house and finish you in a twenty year personal loan along comes two young people who want to do things on their own. *gasp* Dare they...yes they dare.

My nephew and his intended threw tradition *cough* and expectations to the wind as have many young couples this past year. Many of our 's friends, like them, now all grown to young adults are getting married in some very unique and splendid ways. Old abandoned buildings, open parks, back yards in special dress and attire. Hay anywhere I can go to a wedding and reception and not be fully dressed to meet my Misty's expectations and be comfortable and be welcomed to the crowd...as perfectly dressed...I am game. Who says bare feet flip flops braided hear and wild ass color ties can't make an appearance and be appreciated by those attending.
I was stunning.

And tomorrow my nephew and his soon to be wife get their wish. On an icy pond, with fresh fallen snow, and snow flakes fluttering all around in flurries they will be saying their vows to start their lives together. Something I am sure they will always remember and those there will remember for the rest of their lives.

Different, out of the box, classy, memorable. Isn't that what it is all about? A hundred and fifty to two hundred years ago people would be living together and having and waiting for a man of the cloth to come by and bless their pairing. Many never had that......coarse not many family trees brag about that. But the thing is there just were not that many clergy stumbling around the wilds of our country. So these two are ahead of the curve here getting married before spring hits and the rush to tie the knot.

We wish them of coarse all the best. But, we also hope that they have feet warmers at the reception.
