 Both are valid points I will speak to the ladder. Some hubs want the dominating and submission to another man but I believe the willingness starts when he offers his wife or partner to another man. Although this seems to be a fetish for some there are a great deal of men that prefer to watch their wife or partner being shared and he is permitted to watch. I believe that the different definitions come in when different levels of play are introduced. For example: Cuckold hubby enjoys watching wife with multiple men. He has a role possibly fluffer or the clean up man. Another would be where hubby makes arrangements for wife to meet with a man without actually being with her but anxiously awaiting her return to hear all about her adventure. Those are just two scenarios not quite definitions but definitely part of the lifestyle.
