Pouty  After Ganpati Festival Photographer:Sanjay Kewlani "Ganesha Chaturthi also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi, is the Hindu festival celebrated on the birthday (rebirth) of Lord Ganesha, the of Shiva and Parvati." From: Wikipedia It is a drizzly gray day here. My plans for the day are gone with the rain. But I did manage to get some work done, mulching and raking. And even though it is late, I planted some spring bulbs in a small corner with my rose bush. So the entire weekend wasn't a wash, really. But I really am bummed about the rain, I wanted to take my camera out today. So really, I am a very pouty bitch right now, lol. I might blog a bit later on, if my humor improves. But if it doesn't, I thought I would take the time to share some of the photography of others that made me smile, think, or feel a deeper emotion than the surface projects. These other people are very much like teachers to me. I see these amazing photos, noting angles and light, perspective and backgrounds, and applying that to my shots. I am in no way as talented...yet. But I do think that someday, somehow, I will get there.  "Shall I tell you the secret of the true scholar?
