Basingstoke. Such a boring little town.

Basingstoke. Such a boring little town.

So.
The time has come for me to consider why I'm still in this tiny little town. Very few prospects for advancement while I stay here, and my friends mostly reside up in Leicester or the surrounding towns.

It is now just a case of finding new employment up there, and therein lies the problem.

Leicester has 2 universities, that means a lot of cheap workers as they're mostly 17 or 18 when they start their courses.
The minimum wage increases at 21... so, there's a hurdle.

Still... seeking and hoping. I'm sure something will come up soon. Then it's back up there.

Maybe i'll have more luck meeting people up that way too. even those who are from basingstoke on here seem to have no wish to meet others from this town.

which is a shame, some of those who are from this town are stunningly attractive AND seem to have a working brain. That is a rare combination.
