 Expect a lot of pages begging for this or that and telling you what to do. If that's your "thing" then go for it. If not, ignore them and do your own "thing".

 The light is very important in any film making. depending on the affect you are after, warm coloured light makes you look warmer and not pale as with a white light, unless of course your going for that affect. positioning of the light also plays apart in the quality and affect, try reflecting light see how it turns out.
Remember the better quality of the picture will give your audience a better experience to remember hhhhmmmm
