FAKE Profile Prevail Again

Well, to begin this off I think I'll appologize to the ladies out there. The REAL ones that is.
My advice here is for anyone really. Most of the single woman profiles are usless, unles you find them from a more subtancial sorce than the online, new member, or cupidmatch/search pages. They are a nice added piece of information once you find people in chat, or where you can interact to find there is more to them then an electronic web page.
I pay out extra to be able to have Standard members reply to me here. I do believe that even if they have sent their allotted mailings, they can still use an e-mail to "reply" to me here. Well after trying to use the IMC on here to no avail I'm left with chances in chat and replies from e-mails. Well again FAKE profiles prevail. Even when someone replies to me unless I know them, I will now insist they contact me here several more times or have some way to prove to me they are real. Until I have seen you in person, on live cam and or phone where somehow you can prove to me you are real. Friends are real, so I will have to look at my old network and get rid of any in doubt lest I lead others to someone of questionable reality. Only REAL people will be listed there.

I've found some great people here, but it took some work. To help others benifit I'll impart some of my experience here.
Going profile to profile is time consuming and can pay off with new members, but unless you match them immediately your not likely to hear from them again.
I suggest to try the other venues available here. This should be helpful for new standard members since they don't really know what is available to them. While standard members are limited on viewing profiles for the most part, especially men, they can still check out the Chat Rooms, Group Treads, Site Magazine, and Blogs. In all of these they can even participate. These are the places you find most of the real people here. So don't be afraid to interact. Show people you are real.

Real or Fake Profiles

How many profiles do you see on-line all the time but see no activity with?
How many times have you written too people with no response?
In the Year that I have been a Paying member on Discreet Gay Dating, I have met several people through different ways and have had a great time, but the time I have spent viewing profiles and writing to those people seems wasted. The few I do get responses from generally fall into Three categories as I see it.
1. Genuine people Profiles (usually those I have encountered from a local chat room, group threads, through other real people, or parties. Rarely from 1 on 1 e-mail exchange.
2. Fake Profiles to solicit for professional services or Link hacks who want to get you to other sites. These usually request an E-mail address in the profile and have Professional looking pics. (I believe I've even seen one with a pic from a web site personality)
3. Fake Profiles both pranks and seemingly site administered, since they remain so long, that serve for nothing more than to waste our time and allowable views for standard members (after all why else would profiles from outside your Cupid setting for distance come up on you home page), and ultimately frustrate us.
I understand the ratio of males to females here can be mind numbing especially for the ladies (there are stories there), but it makes me wonder if the extra $20.00 I'm paying for standard members to reply to me or even the membership, is worth continuing. Especially a standard membersr response to my E-mail, counts toward their allowable E-mails.
So Who is REAL and who is FAKE?
