I know it is an old saying, but do learn by example. "well Mom does it!" Seeing 14 yr old alcoholic and even younger, 12 yr old pregnant girls, 10 yr olds smoking cigs or even worse pot. Its just a day in the life. Kinda hard to keep your in control when you are not leading the best example for them. Very Very sad.

Ok guys just a heads up. If you are really trying to attract a woman here, my best advice is not to send her your weenie pic. Just saying. To turn on most educated, professional, employed and looking for a quality man sort of woman, you need to first have a bit of intelligence. A nicely written paragraph telling the basics of yourself, ie, hobbies,interests, turn ons, turn offs, job, baggage, drinking and smoking tendencies, and what you are truly seeking is the best way to start. A face photo with eyes showing, not behind dark glasses, is your next move. If she really wants to see what "it" looks like she will ask. Remember, tidiness is next to godliness. A little fresh wash and trim does wonders. You dont necessarily need to shave, but she really doesnt want to bring along a bushwacker to have to go find it either.

On the flip side of previous blog, How has it that adults can be so ignorant to the real world around them. Thinking they are immune to the troubles of todays world? Denying the facts that are right in front of them. If you are not part of the solution....You are part of the problem.

I hate to admit it, but I am actually looking forward to fall and a slightly cooler weather. Summer is still my favorite time of year, but as hot as it was I didnt get many of my projects done. I LOVE football. High school, college and pro. The only sport I will watch on tv. I enjoy going to a sports bar and hanging with friends for a beverage and a cocktail. Of course after fall comes the white stuff that we can just skip over just in time for spring.

Another dilemma hits the fan. I am not sure if I should confront a person or just let it blow by as another lesson learned. I recently loaned a piece of mechanical equiptment to a friend. Next thing I know I get on my fb account thanks for loaning me from three different people. Apparently the gent I loaned it to took it to three of his buddies places for them to use also. I cant imagine borrowing something from someone and going around to all my friends and loaning something out that wasnt mine to begin with. Maybe Im just a different breed. I think I will chock it up to lesson learned and not loan things out to him again.

After reading a friends page and saying that if you cant afford a 20% tip maybe you shouldnt go out to eat, here comes the blog. There are 100s of jobs out there where people work with the public and service industry and tips arent an expectation. When I go out for a meal or get a haircut or whatever the adventure, why am I expected to "tip" you? You get a wage. I pay 3 fold what it costs for a meal at home. You take 20 minutes to cut my hair and charge $45 and want a tip? Even if you only get 1/2 that you still are making $40 bucks an hour. Why a tip? I wait on people all day and dont get tips. We arent even allowed to take things from clientele. Dont get me wrong. If I go out for a meal and have exceptional above average service I am one of the better tippers out there. Just dont expect a tip if you do a lousy job. IE I have to ask for water 4 times and still never get it. My order is wrong. Then there is the "built in" tip for parties over 8 people. We received our meal and never saw the waiter again. We all had to go up to the bar or counter to get our own drinks or ask for additional food items. So next time you bitch and whine about someone who leaves you a poor tip maybe you should look in the mirror and look at the care given to your guest. The majority of the GQ public work in areas that dont expect a tip for doing their job. Im really quite easy to please. Keep my drink glass 1/2 full and I am good to go. Water, coffee, Pop, whatever it is.

I wasnt going to post this but its been about 4 days since it happened and Im still chuckling from it so here goes. Maybe you just had to be there but...
This married fella has been on me for years here to just give him a chance and blah blah. We've all heard the lines. I just learned along time ago to never mess with married men as its extremely unfulfilling. Its all about him and when it works for him and his schedule and always on the clock blah blah. So, Im at walmart the other day shopping for girlie things and wallah! There he is, Mr Studmuffin, right there in the condom isle. Apparently someone finally said Yes! Maybe I missed out? He had 2 boxes of Magnum XL's and a tube of Lube. He doesnt have a clue who I am, but Im sure I might have given it away by the big grin and chuckle I let out as I walked on by. I couldnt find exactly what I was looking for so I had to circle around a few times. I suppose its not such a good idea to post your face pic on your profile if your married. Maybe that should be sent in private?

We are well into July and where has the time gone? Its been a very busy spring and so far summer for me, but enjoyable. I hope it has for everyone else also. Meeting alot of new and interesting people. Some more interesting than others. And then, yes, there is the INTERESTING ones too. Summer campout is right around the corner and I ordered 82 and sunnyfor the weekend. I have been behaving myself as of late, so Im sure the Big Cheese will cooperate this year. Anyone pondering the idea of camping, just jump in and come along. If anyone has any reservations, just go for it. If you find we are too odd, just stick at your own campsite and nothing lost. The campground itself has running water and electric at each site. Porta potties and Real bathrooms and showers are scattered throughout the place. A covered patio area for Karaoke and/or Movies on the weekend for those who want to partake. Volleyball and horseshoes are also available. You might find a Euchre game going on here or there also. Tubing will be on friday and saaturday for those who just want to tube. Hope you all come out. July 29th through Aug 1st

This is for the doorbell ringers, email senders, poster hangers, groups posters and anyone else who fits. When did people become so lazy and turn into such a gimme society. Give to this cause, donate to this team, give to the class project, blah blah blah. What happened to the day that parents, teachers, coaches and mentors taught those to have work ethic and to be moralistic. Knocking on doors with palm up to "give" to this or that verses, "We are EARNING money for our sport event or class project, can I work around your house to EARN some money?" I had a Grandfather knock on my door last weekend taking "donations" for the local catholic school fundraiser. I asked him where the Student was and his answer was "he was out late last night". Its sunday morning at noon. What are these parents teaching their , worse yet why is a parent/grandparent knocking on doors begging? I certainly dont understand this practice.
