Why is illegal

I wanted to write on this for some time now, and now I finally get a chance to so. You have two consenting adults willing to engage in sex in exchange for money/form of money. What is the harm in that? This is her body, she should be able to do what she want with it. This is his money he should be able to spend it how he see fit. No women should be forced into . Back in the day, girls had pimps who made them , and the girls didn't have a choice if they wanted to stay alive. Now the game is a little different. A high percentage(75) of the girls are independant. They are rolling solo. True enough that a lot of girls are on drugs which they to get there drugs and occasions they exchange some ass with her dealer. The remainder of the girls do this strictly for money because they make more money trickin as appose to a 9-5 job. I believe should be legalise for two reasons. First, you keep the girls safe, clean, give her confidence and self esteem, you make her feel like she belong in society, and most of all you give her a reason/opportunity to quit drugs and a reason to live. The second reason you put money back into the economy, you free up police officer, the court system, and maybe cut down on std's. Let me ask you something, if is so bad, why is it legal in two states( Nevada and I think Delaware).

From wikipedia: "Prostitution was made illegal in almost all states between 1910 and 1915 largely due to the influence of the Woman's Christian Temperance Union which was influential in the banning of drug use and was a major force in the prohibition of alcohol."

It was never made illegal in Canada. We've somehow managed to keep ourselves from becoming sex-crazed barbarians despite the temptation, so the WCTU might have just been wasting everybody's time.
