Settling in-finally!

New starts are always worrisome, but as many of you have pointed out they can be the beginnings of better things.
My new place is perfect-quiet, residential neighborhood, closer to work, not too hot or cold-and I fit all my stuff in (the stuff I kept, anyhow.)The rent's cheaper than what I had been paying, too!

My brother got a new job and is still attending rehab and therapy in a dutiful manner.

My pedo colleague is fighting the sex abuse charge and will probably lose, do jail time, and lose his teaching license to boot. New hirings taking place at school as we speak.

Finished the 9th grade final exam and submitted it on time. Boss is happy-I love my boss, thus I am happy, too.

Handed in my research paper to my English professor and got an A-. Considering the rush I gave it, I'll take it!

Three weeks until summer vacation! For those of you who think teachers work part-time, I have 120 research papers and final exams to grade in 10 days. Without summer, we'd go postal.

And of course, set up a new phone line, set up cable and now I'm back online!

Where the hell is everybody?

You know, I booked a cruise to Nova Scotia this August, so not only am I going to be in Canada, I'll be directly opposite of the way I need to go!!! D'oh!
