Slow Waltzing
Dim the lights
close the doors
place chairs on tables
closing up time
and we are still
slow waltzing in a corner
the night has been
beginining
the night has been
sublime
a trickle of thought
in embrace gladly caught
the bar staff unwinding
the bouncers showing out
the slow and drunk
and we slow waltzing
the music of our hearts
lips against each other
speaking without words
converting yearning to learning
seek to know
every molecule of you
from how you dance
to your breathing warm
and finally shown the door
ushered out into the cold

as even walking
