Love In Our Eyes A Poem

Will you ever look at me
With love in your eyes?
I hope that when you do
I can see it!
I will recognize
The glow and shine.

Will it be a mirror of my own?
Heaven would be smiling
Down on us.
For surely heaven
Played a part!
Bringing us together
Causing sparks
Eliciting feelings
That grow stronger.

Love in your eyes
A view to your soul
How I long for this sight
To become real.
Do you have the same wish
With the same zeal?
Does it hold the same appeal?
There is a word
For such wishful thinking.
It is possible.
