A Rise A Rose Roses A Poem

I wanted a rise out of you.
I wanted to know that
I somehow reached
And got through.

So, I flirted
And I teased
And I might have
Been a bit too outrageous
But I think
You could see
That I was so very eager
For your attention.
Yes, indeed.

So very eager.
And honey
I would not fail
To deliver if you
Gave me the opportunity
In person.
I would do all in my power
To see to your pleasure.
I would aim to please.

I wanted a rise out of you.
If you rose
So would I.
For a single rose is lovely
But two together draw
The eye
In more directions
And the fragrance
May last longer.
