Those that we love never truly go away,

They forever walk beside us everyday,

Unheard and unseen,but always there,

Still loved and missed,so very dear.

For separation though it leaves heart-

ache that none can heal doesn't steal

our love and leaves many precious

memories in the mind for our loved one

 Memories as they sometimes say...are all we have.
And that's even more poignant when that someone has left the earth and can be with you only in spirit.
I heard once that the job of the dead is to forgive the sins of the living.
That does seem appropriate, let's hope someone forgives us.
