I finally hammered out a plan to meet up with someone and they last minute just canceled. I was moments away from finalizing our hotel room.

As the title might tell you... I was dumped last week and it felt pretty shitty. I thought I had found something that felt real and might be going somewhere. The lesson I am pulling from this experience is how important communication and being on the same page are. From what I could tell I thought the two of us were fine until I was blinded sided. Perhaps if I were more aware or more communicative things would have gone different.

Now moving forward I want to brandish this lesson, it doesnt make the fallout feel any better but at least I can take a positive step forward.
