2. Guys may be flirting around all day but before they go to sleep, they always think about the girl they truly care about.

Ok im hella sad right now.....
I was on one of my profiles of pregnant moms and etc reading forums...
When I came across one that said R>I>P some BITCH let her baby be killed of SBS by her father....the baby was 3 months old!!!! The bitch made the dad get a dna test and the day the results came back it was his the bitch had her mom drop the baby off at his house and left!!! so the hoe could party!!!! which is why her fast ass probably got pregnant in the first place!!!!
the baby was left on a dirty mattess in the back room for 3 weeks....5 fuckin ppl lived inthe house and only one ever went back there to feed her!!!
One day the punk ass daddy got mad cuz she was crying and shook the baby and thru her head into a wall!!! Shaking a very young , with or without impact of the head, can cause irreversible brain damage, blindness, cerebral palsy, hearing loss, spinal cord injury, seizures, learning disabilities, and even death. It is tragic that healthy, intelligent babies are suffering these disabilities simply because their caregivers don't know about the dangers associated with Shaken Baby Syndrome.
An estimated 1,200 to 1,400 cases of Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS) occur each year in the United States. Only 1 out of 4 babies dies of Shaken Baby Syndrome. HOWEVER, the other three babies will need ongoing medical attention for the rest of their short lifespans

From time to time I receive emails with suggestions for topics to be discussed. Today's blog comes from a topic that I've explored before, but we'll dig deeper and speak more in depth on a couple of areas that are often overlooked.
No one has control over matters of the heart. When cupid shoots an arrow straight through yours all you can do is allow things to happen, right? Well what if that person is twice your senior or junior?
Yes, I'm talking about an older man and younger woman/older woman and younger man.
In a previous blog the discussion centered on the health of your older mate, wanting and of course sex, but what about other factors that make such a union difficult to maintain?
My reader wanted to know what typically attracts someone to an older/younger person. In my opinion, I go back to that lil' imaginary angel with a bow and arrows, we do not have any kind of control over who we find ourselves attracted to. It's what happens once you find out he/she has an AARP card or he/she just entered college that things get complicated.
Understand that with this blog I'm not focusing only on the over 40 club. Some of you can remember in your 20's engaging in a relationship with someone just ten years older. I've had my fair share of them that's for sure. In my 20's I dated a couple of men that were only seven years my senior and can I just tell you they always made me feel young. I would be into things that they would believe were "preschoolish", whereas, I'm looking at his old ass like this is in now. I love the 80's, but don't nobody rock dookie gold chains, high top fades and polkas dot no more ninja.
Despite feeling as though you were an adult and could hang with the big leagues, weren't there some things that you just couldn't do? How about a dinner date and they can't even order a drink because 21 is at least two years away or what about going to a nice bar/lounge to hang out with friends? He/she can't get in because they have to be at least 25. In my situations I noticed our friends never seemed to have any desire to mingle simply because our interests were totally different. His friends more than likely felt my friends were childish and on the other hand we were thinking these old skool bums.
In dealing with someone much older, say in their 50's there is definitely an issue with our tastes as well as how he could fit into my circle. If you were with me on the "Grady" blogs, you know it was very difficult due to his lack of getting his dick hard. In addition to that, I often thought about if I had to take him home to meet my family. Hell, the Diva would've been calling him PopPop. I envisioned him and my mom would be reminiscing of afros, the joys of black/white integration, the Four Tops and Spinners, while I would be in front of the TV shaking my ass to Souljah Boy's, Crank Dat (okay maybe not that song, but you get my drift). Talk about a generation gap.
Maybe I'm exaggerating just a little, but the more I thought about this topic I was more interested in what the rest of you thought about this "age ain't nuthin' but a number" attitude when it comes to dating older/younger mates and bringing them into your circle. Is that really the case when your circle consists of friends/family that look at you sideways for messing with him/her?
Let's talk about it.
If you are involved with an older/younger mate or spouse how does it affect the other people in your lives (i.e. , family and friends)? Are they even affected?
What are some other things that you see could be factors that would hinder someone from being able to look past the age?

Ever date someone who just can't stay away from bars or clubs? I'm sure most of us have or at least know of someone like that. It sucks, doesn't it? Especially if you're the kind of person who detests those places and have no interest in joining your mates.
I have to admit up front… I, personally, loathe bars and clubs and avoid them like the plague. However, I have dated females from my past that practically lived in those hellholes. And each and every one of them was proven to be an absolute piece of shit and I got rid of them right away. Looking back, that was a mistake on my part.
Lets get something perfectly clear‒ anybody who isn't single, and still goes to clubs and bars are one of two things. Either they are alcoholics, or they're unhappy with what they have at home. Nobody likes going to those places just to hang out with friends. What kind of shit is that? You need to be around countless other people and loud-ass music to chill with your cronies? If that's truly the case, you need to find new friends, pronto, or grow a personality.
Months ago I was listening to a radio show and I heard this lady, who was a dating expert, on as a guest. They brought this subject up to her and she confirmed my thesis that any girl who still goes to a bar or club when they have someone at home is looking elsewhere and is looking to trade up. I'm sure the same is true for the opposite, any guy with a girlfriend who still goes bar hopping is looking for a piece of pussy for the night and not just to blow off steam with his buddies from work.
Okay, if you out there reading this think I'm full of shit, then do an experiment yourself. Find out what club or bar your girl is going to, and have someone you know but she doesn't go to the same bar and hit on her. If she takes down his number or gives her's out, then you know your dealing with a piece of shit. Make sure the guy is attractive that you send out though, otherwise, you may just be giving yourself a false sense of security. Women won't risk fucking up what they have at home for something similar or worse than what they have. They will, however, roll the dice on something they deem as being bigger, better, and more attractive.
Men will just fuck anybody whether they're old, young, fat, thin, blind, crippled, or crazy.
So if you figure out your mate is a piece of shit, what do you do then? First reaction would be to dump them, right? Don't do it! Why burn your bridges? Keep them around until you, yourself, find something better. It's like looking for a new job. Once you figure out that the job you have sucks, you go out looking for a new one. But do you quit your old one before you find something new? Hell no! At least its still money, right? Same goes for women! You know what you're dealing with, and you act accordingly.

My goal in 2008 is to stay positive regardless of the idiots I come across. So on Friday when I recieved this disturbing article, I did not lose my cool, in fact I just smiled.
As you may or may not know the state of New Jersey is getting ready to issue an apology for slavery (it will be the first Northern state to do so). A republican assemblyman by the name of Michael Patrick Carroll does not think it is important to do so however. In fact he believes that if anything Blacks should be happy that slavery took them out of Africa. Apparently Carroll has no knowledge of how the repatriation efforts by people like Marcus Garvey were crushed by the U.S. Government. He obviously doesn't know the story behind a country like Liberia either.
Either the assemblyman is in denial or is just not intelligent enough to see that the majority of Africa's problems are a direct result of western colonization.
